We tested the real power consumption of the IST8505 nanopower TMR switch using a simple setup: after switching off the system, we measure how long our sensor can continue operating using only a 100 nF capacitor as the energy source and compare it with others. The IST8505 runs in the 10–20 nA range, making the difference very clear for ultra-low power designs like CGM, wearables, and IoT.
